This big moving main studbook Hanoverian mare has produced foals with spectacular movement and type. In 1998, Greta was, at the age of 14, named Senior Mare Champion Reserve and first place in broodmares 4 and over at the Glenwood Farms Sporthorse Breeders Classic. Marks of 80% and scores of 7.5 on conformation with 8s on walk and trot underscore her ability which she passes along. Greta’s general impression scores of 10 speak well of her extravagant movement and spectacular suspension.

Greta’s sire, Golfstrom, competed to Grand Prix level in both dressage and jumping at different points in his career. Grenadier, Golfstrom’s sire, sired 17 approved sons, including Golfstrom I, the Olymic Dressage Gold Medalist in Seoul 1988 and Grunewald who sired Grunnox, a dressage team Gold Medalist at the Atlanta Olympics. Her dam’s sire is Pik Koenig by Pik Ass xx , well regarded for passing on jumping ability to progeny, also found in Sir Caletto’s pedigree.
